My Good Life

The wonderful Hayley over at Single Motherhood Challenges has tagged me in the Happy 101 meme.
She's having a tough week, and I would like everyone to send her huge ((hugs)).

So on with the challenge....

10 things which make me happy (in no particular order).


1) My children - Little Man and Dot are the light of my life.  They are my reason for getting out of bed on 'those' days.

2) Jim - He's been great over the last 20 months we've known each other.  Okay, so we have our rows, but overall, he's wonderful.  On Little Man's 3rd birthday, he drove 30 miles in the middle of the night because I was feeling particularly low, and the clutch on his car was broken. :)


3) Giving birth to my children - I feel so priveliged to have experienced childbirth, and even though I remember it hurting, it makes the tears of joy fall every time I think about both times.


4) Cleaning - Okay, so this may seem like a weird one, but mess makes me miserable.  There is nothing better than cleaning when things are winding me up, take the aggression out on the hob or the toilet. ;)




5) Cooking - I have a passion for cooking. Making tasty meals, and knowing I am providing my family with healthy(ish) meals.




6) Bed time with fresh sheets - There is very little better than cuddling under the duvet, with freshly washed bedding.





7) Sunny days - Because they always brighten my mood.



8) Smiles - Smile and the whole world smiles with you.


9) My family - As much as we have our disagreements, they're always there for me if I need them.

10) My blog and the comments I receive - Since I've started blogging, I seem to be calmer, maybe it's because I have somewhere to offload.  And as for comments, it makes my day to see any comments left for me.
